Bred in California by Rainbow Equus Meadows, EM Fuerst Flight R came to our farm as a weanling in 1999. She was presented to the American Hanoverian Society for her studbook approval in 2003 and was accepted into the Main Studbook with an overall score of 7.0. She took the AHS Mare Performance Test in 2006 and with a free jumping score of 8.0 was accepted into the North American Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program. EM Fuerst Flight R completed her requirements for the prestigious Elite Mare title by producing AHS registered Epic, a 2008 Hanoverian colt by Escudo II. She subsequently produced Epic's full sister, Elegance, that we are retaining for competition and eventual breeding. EM Fuerst Flight R has been a consistent winner in both hunters and eventing, taking numerous year-end awards. Flight is currently in foal and due June 2011 to PABLO, an AHS approved Westfalen stallion that is in the North American Jumper Breeding Program.
2008 - EPIC - gray colt sired by Escudo II
2009 - ELEGANCE - gray filly sired by Escudo II
2011 - POM~PANO, DF - chestnut or grey colt sired by Pablo
It is with sadness that I am offering Flight for sale. She has been an amazing partner to me but unfortunately, combined with a recent shoulder surgery, bad back and the fact I am now 60, I have decided that Flight needs to be offered to someone who would enjoy her in the future more than I am able to. Flight has been successfully shown in eventing, dressage and hunters.. She is also a proven broodmare, having produced 3 lovely foals by Escudo II (2) and Pablo. She is a Hanoverian Main Studbook mare and passed the Mare Performance Test to gain the prestigious Elite Mare title. She is also in the North American Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.
Flight loves to jump, In 2006 she won the Mid-South Eventing and Dressage Association’s Year End Award for the Starter Division. She will need to be brought back to the show ring though as she has had time off. I restarted her last summer and took her to one event where she won her division. Then, my back gave me trouble and once again Flight had her shoes pulled and was turned out.
Flight has a very strong jumper-oriented pedigree. Her sire is the Grand Prix show jumper Fuerst Gotthard (aka The Titlest ) and her dam is sired by the Grand Prix show jumper Prinz Gaylord.
Flight will be restarted in April and will be used as my outrider horse at Rolex, which we have done together for the past 6 years.
